Best Houston political debates in recent history
The best local debates have been in Houston mayoral elections.
Memorable ones were:
- The series of Kathy Whitmire/Sylvester Turner/Bob Lanier debates in 1991
- The Lee Brown/Rob Mosbacher debates in 1997
- Bill White/Sylvester Turner/Orlando Sanchez debates in 2003
